Gentle Seasons Learning Pod
A space that allows children to move through the seasons gently,
finding awareness of the world around them and within
My Inspiration
I have been homeschooling my oldest son (7 years) for two years with the Charlotte Mason method, inspired by the philosophies of Maria Montessori.
I believe children learn best in environments that move slowly, feel safe, and follow natural rhythms.
In our space, we move through the seasons together gently as we lean into developing awareness of the world around them and within themselves through play, nature, and connection.
I believe that having a healthy, secure attachment with their caregiver is necessary for a good education because a secure caregiver creates a learning environment that signals to a child’s nervous system that they can relax and use their energy to learn rather than fight/scan/protect.
How I approach Homeschooling w/ CM and Montessori Inspiration:
Current Openings
Summer Care & Enrichment: June-Aug. 2026
A small, in-home summer learning space with a slower paced rhythm, where children experience sensory play, outdoor exploration, early learning exposure, and emotional regulation support in a calm, child-led environment.
Fall Kindergarten-3rd Pod: 2026-2027
A small, in-home kindergarten learning pod where I homeschool my children alongside one additional child, offering gentle early academics, hands-on learning, nature-based exploration, and highly attuned support in a slow, connected environment.
