If your child isn’t quite reading yet, but is about to take off, these can help give them the boost of confidence they likely need!
Teacher’s Tip: When using these with my own littles or students, if the child doesn’t know the sound of the word yet, I tell them the sound but let them blend the sounds together on their own. The goal is to boost their confidence. If they can blend sounds together, then they can read.
You Got This: Once they’re able to blend sounds, all that’s left is to keep solidifying each phonogram sound in their mind. With repetition! But they also need to BELIEVE that they can read. That’s where we come in with these worksheets to build their confidence. I hope you and your child enjoy filling these out as much as I have with my littles!
My workbook pages are always going to be Montessori inspired to reduce distraction and keep the focus on the task at hand.
This download includes four fun pages and is completely free.
