This is set One out of two flash card sets I’ve created. Set one includes all of the single letter phonograms with the exception of /qu/ because “q” is always spelled with “u”.
What’s different about this set of flash cards compared to any other set I’ve seen? It’s that I have included every sound for each phonogram along with a photo of a word including each sound.
For example, letter “a” makes three sounds. /a/ as in ant. /a/ as in acorn. /a/ as in swan.
Letter “b” makes one sound.
Vowels are highlighted in red.
Consonants are highlighted in blue.
These flash cards are Montessori inspired and follow the Logic of English curriculum.
